Update philosophy:

How updates work:
Automatic updates (default):
- App checks for updates on launch
- Notification appears when available
- Click "Update Now" or "Remind Me Later"
- Updates download in background
- Installs on next app restart
Manual updates:
- Go to Help → Check for Updates
- Or download from our website
- Install over existing version
- Settings and licenses preserved
Update settings:
Configure in Settings → Updates:
- Enable/disable auto-check
- Choose update channel (Stable/Beta)
- Set check frequency
- Enable/disable notifications

Getting Help
Before contacting support:
- Check the docs - Often the fastest solution
- Search Discord - Someone may have asked already
- Try safe mode - Hold Shift while launching app
- Update the app - May already be fixed
- Restart Windows - Classic but effective
When contacting support:
Include this information:
- App name and version (Help → About)
- Windows version (Win + Pause)
- What you were doing when issue occurred
- Exact error message (screenshot helps)
- Steps to reproduce the problem
Common issues:
Installation problems:
- Run installer as Administrator
- Temporarily disable antivirus
- Check Windows is up to date
License activation:
- Check entered characters
- Paste key without spaces
- Ensure internet connection
Performance issues:
- Update graphics drivers
- Check system requirements
- Disable hardware acceleration
- Clear app cache

Bug Reports
How to report bugs effectively:
Required information:
- What happened - The actual behavior
- What should happen - Expected behavior
- Reproduction steps - How to trigger it
- Frequency - Always/sometimes/once
- System info - OS, app version

- Error messages (exact text)
- Log files
- Sample files (if applicable)
- Workarounds you've found
Bug report lifecycle:
- Reported - We've received it
- Confirmed - We can reproduce it
- In Progress - Being fixed
- Fixed - In next update
- Released - Update available
